Largest Zumba Class In New York City

The Relay For Life of Bergen Beach, Mill Basin & Marine Park hosted 419 participants at their Zumba For Life event to set a record for Largest Zumba Class In New York City. They set the record at the Aviator Sports Complex in Brooklyn to raise cancer awareness and money for the benefit of the American Cancer Society.

Farthest Distance To Be Carried By Other People

Mark Malkoff was carried 9.4 miles by 155 random people, covering almost the entire length of Manhattan while setting the world record. He achieved the feat on December 18–19, 2009, beginning at the Staten Island Ferry[] Terminal and ending at 140th Street.

Malkoff took no steps forward on his own, using only the kindness and generosity of fellow citizens to complete his trek.

Most Tent Circulations In One Minute

Using deft moves and kangaroo-like jumping ability, Rob Birdsong sets a new universal record with 11 tent circulations in one minute. Each circulation consisted of Rob entering the tent from one side door, exiting through the other side door, and then jumping over the tent back to his starting position.

The record was set on December 14, 2008 at Birdsong’s apartment in Brooklyn, New York. Ryan Brown and Schuyler Van Horn witnessed and documented the feat.
